OUTDATED TECHNOLOGY
I’m looking for a new laptop computer. I don’t want anything fancy. A typical one will do just fine so long as it has a faster processing speed than my old one. That’s all I really wanted. I’ve looked online, but kept getting redirected to these websites for all these overly elaborate computers. I’m not the targeted traffic for these sites. I don’t want two screens or a laptop computer that comes with motion sensors or a laser targeting system to annihilate anyone who tries to steal it. If it has a reliable word processor and a workable Internet connection, then it’s fine. I don’t need anything ultramodern or hip. I don’t play video games so I don’t need the latest gaming software or any add-ons. I already have a printer that I really like and has never given me any problems and I don’t need a PC fax or anything else. I have email. Why do I need a fax machine? I’d sooner use a telegraph, though I’ve never actually seen one or heard of one. Actually, I had a teacher who became annoyed when the class was naming all these different methods of communication and no one mentioned a telegraph. Of course no one had. It was an outdated technology none of us had ever used.
