One of my brother’s good friends used to be quite the big spender. He always had the coolest new gadgets and gizmos, as well as the nicest cars, and he always went to the most exotic destinations for vacation. He always worked while we were in college, and seemed to be making a lot of money. The irony is, that he now works in Tampa Bay working at a law firm that focuses on Tampa Chapter 7 bankruptcy laws. He used to spend tons of money, and now he helps people that spent too much money. He did not even lose all of his money, he just decided to invest in an education. He found that law suited him, and I think that working with people that overspent their incomes felt close to home for him. I know that he did not lose his money, but I think he realized that it was possible for him to if he were to keep up the spending habits that he was maintaining. He does make a decent amount of money doing what he is doing now, but he is spending his money more carefully. He invests a lot of it now, and does not do as much impulse spending.
